Great addition Jake well done!
Thanks Bill. We’ve just enhanced this feature too. You can now post meeting title, start date and start time to custom fields so you can merge these into follow up emails and also trigger based off of the start date. Full details will be provided in the next few days.
Now that’s too cool 4 school thanks Jake
how do you do this I logged in and couldn’t see it
Copy the fuze, then change from “Add Tag to Contact” to “Add Info to Fields”, it will then appear
Perfect thanks Jake
Jake great job. Are you aware of meetingburner.com a great service that competes with gotomeeting with more features at lower price. I was a beta user and they have grown to large user base. Has an API but I cannot find a resource to be able to integrate with infusionsoft. Maybe an opportunity for you?
Thanks Eric. I’ll look into Meeting Burner. I was an early beta user myself and just found it wasn’t nearly as stable as GTW. That was a good year or so ago though, so likely worthwhile me taking another look.
Hey, Jake… I’m just about to use this integration for a client, but I’m wondering if you could give me some guidance around how to make this work together with a small sales force. So, when a lead fills out a consultation request form, that form has a lead router attached to it, routing it to one of their two sales peeps. The thing I’m unclear on is- how do we then shore up the google cal. appt. with whose lead it is (who the contact owner is of the lead in ONTRA). Thoughts?
Hey @tobinpoppenberg:disqus. You could likely achieve this in a couple ways depending on how you have it setup.
You could route the lead to a separate scheduling page per sales member. That way you can use a unique tag to trigger an active response.
The second way potentially would be to add a tag to the lead dependant on which sales member they end up with (Let’s call this “sales member” tag), then if the lead is booking in time in on the same scheduler regardless of sales member, you could setup a unique active response per sales member, that will trigger based on the “scheduled” tag being applied but will also check to ensure the “sales member” tag is on the leads record too.
Does that make sense? You may need to hit me up to chat about it more. Shoot me an email if needed -> firstname.lastname@example.org
Hi Jake, I am a solopreneur Wellness Coach. I am considering Ontraport for my business marketing and email needs ( I currently am using MailChimp). For booking appointments, I am using Mind Body Online which allows me a PCI compliant way to securely capture credit card. This greatly reduces no shows. When clients book an appointment through either Schedule Once or Time Trade is there a way to set a tag that will allow for my business to capture a credit card before confirming the appointment through Ontraport?
Sort of… the appointment would still be confirmed if you had them schedule time before taking card details. But upon someone booking you can apply a tag that triggers an email to an order form to collect the credit card information.
Or you could switch it around and only allow someone to book time after they’ve successfully paid or provided card details via the order form.
Does that help?
